How to book a car at the Las Vegas FBOs

The business aviation side of Harry Reid International
Harry Reid International Airport, named McCarran International until 2021, is owned by Clark County and run by its Department of Aviation (harryreidairport.com). Airline passengers use Terminals 1 and 3; private aircraft use FBO buildings on the airport's perimeter, with their own entrances off the surrounding streets. Signature and Atlantic
Signature Aviation and Atlantic Aviation operate the FBOs at LAS. Each has its own lobby, gate and waiting area for chauffeured cars, and the two are far enough apart that the wrong building costs time. We name them only as places; neither is a BlaakLane.com partner. Some private flyers use Henderson Executive or North Las Vegas airports instead. If your aircraft is going to one of those fields, put the airport and handler in the notes and we will route the chauffeur there.
Can the car meet the aircraft?
The chauffeur normally parks where the FBO directs, at the front of the building, and you walk through the lobby to the car while line staff carry the bags. Planeside pickup, with the car driven onto the ramp to the aircraft stairs, is granted case by case. The FBO and the aircraft operator both have to approve ramp access for that vehicle and chauffeur, and security rules or a crowded ramp can mean no. We request it for you and confirm what was agreed; it is never guaranteed.
Customs for international private arrivals
Jets arriving from Mexico, Canada, Europe or Asia must clear U.S. Customs and Border Protection at an airport where inspection is available, with passenger and crew data filed ahead of departure. Whether your flight clears at Las Vegas or at an earlier stop is for your flight department and FBO to settle, and it sets the time we plan around. Passports stay with the passengers throughout. The chauffeur waits outside the process, and the 60 minutes of included international waiting begins at arrival.

Road closures on the Strip are common for races, parades and big fights. The Regional Transportation Commission posts traffic information, and chauffeurs use Koval Lane, Paradise Road or Frank Sinatra Drive to reach resort entrances when Las Vegas Boulevard is shut.
Resort arrivals and porte-cochères
Every major resort has its own driveway and a porte-cochère with its own rules. Some have a separate entrance for villas, suites or high-limit guests. Tell us which entrance your host has named, and the chauffeur will pull up there rather than at the main valet line. Chauffeured vehicles in Nevada are regulated by the Nevada Transportation Authority, and affiliate operators work within its rules on where they may load.
Trade shows, fights and race weekend
Las Vegas has a crowded calendar. CES usually takes over the city in early January, other large trade shows fill the Convention Center in spring and autumn, the Las Vegas Grand Prix is usually held in November on a street circuit around the Strip, and Allegiant Stadium hosts NFL games and concerts through the year. On those dates the FBOs run near capacity and the roads around them slow down. Book the return to the jet at the same time as the arrival, and ask about multi-vehicle programmes for a sales team or a suite of guests, which are planned by a coordinator and confirmed in writing. Choosing the vehicle
- Two executives going to a Strip meeting: Luxury Executive Sedan or Executive First Class Sedan (Maybach), two bags each.
- A family or a golf foursome: Executive Black SUV or Standard Black SUV, six passengers and six bags.
- A bachelor or birthday group landing together: Luxury Stretch Limo for eight or a Party Bus for 14.
- A client entertainment group of up to 12: Sprinter Van, 12 passengers and 12 small bags.
- A team heading straight to a trade show floor with laptops only: Sprinter Luxury Jet Van, seven passengers, carry-on only.

Heat, golf bags and show equipment
Summer afternoons in Las Vegas regularly pass 40 °C (104 °F), so a short walk from the FBO door to the car is worth asking for. Golf trips to the courses in Henderson or Summerlin need space: two golf bags plus luggage fit one SUV, and more than that calls for a Sprinter Van. Exhibitors carrying sample cases should list them in the notes.
Discreet arrivals

Fare, waiting and cancellation
The fixed fare covers the car and chauffeur on the route booked. Included waiting is 60 minutes from an international arrival and 30 minutes from a domestic one, then 15-minute blocks. A cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup is free of charge; 72 hours or less is billed at 10%, 48 hours or less at 50%, and 24 hours or less or a no-show at 100%.
