O'Hare International
At O'Hare, Terminal 1 is mainly United, Terminal 3 mainly American, and Terminal 2 handles a mix of carriers. Terminal 5 is the international terminal and has the customs hall. Midway is compact and mostly domestic, with Southwest as its largest carrier. The walk from gate to curb is short, which makes it a favourite for business travellers heading to the South Loop or McCormick Place. Pickup is at the designated pre-arranged vehicle area on the lower level, and the 30-minute domestic wait applies to most arrivals.
Arriving internationally at Terminal 5
International passengers clear US Customs and Border Protection in Terminal 5 before baggage claim. Visitors under the Visa Waiver Program need an approved ESTA, and Global Entry or Mobile Passport Control can shorten the line. Some flights from Canada and a few other airports clear US immigration before departure and arrive as domestic passengers, often into Terminals 1, 2 or 3. We treat the booking according to where you actually arrive, and the 60-minute international wait starts from the real touchdown time. Business jets: Chicago Executive and the city airports

Winter, tolls and other Chicago driving facts
Cars drive on the right, and the downtown street grid is numbered from State and Madison. Lake Shore Drive is the scenic route along the lake but carries no trucks and can close in sections during severe storms.
