The LCY terminal and runway
LCY has one terminal with gates on both sides of a short pier, and arriving passengers reach the exit quickly. The runway sits between two former docks, and the steep approach limits the aircraft types that can land, which is why airlines fly Embraer E-Jets, Airbus A220s and turboprops. The airport has a night curfew and a weekend closure window, so the last Saturday arrivals and the first Sunday flights are always busy. The Docklands Light Railway has a station at the terminal, with trains to Bank in about 20-25 minutes and connections to Canary Wharf; the Elizabeth line stops at nearby Custom House. Customs, waiting and cancellations

Flights from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast and other UK airports are domestic, with 30 minutes. After that, waiting is billed in 15-minute blocks. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours ahead, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less and 100% at 24 hours or less or on a no-show.
