How to book a car at St Pancras

Arriving on Eurostar
Passengers from Paris, Brussels or Amsterdam clear UK passport control before boarding on the continent, so on arrival you walk straight off the platform and through the arrivals exit. Going the other way, you pass UK exit and French or Schengen entry checks in London. The EU Entry/Exit System, rolled out from October 2025, registers the fingerprints and photo of non-EU passport holders on their first crossing, which can lengthen the queue. For departures, Eurostar sets the check-in time; we plan your drop-off to reach the building with that margin in hand.
Where the chauffeur picks you up
The station has frontages on Euston Road, Pancras Road to the east and Midland Road to the west. Euston Road is a red route where cars must not stop, and the space outside the St Pancras Renaissance hotel is controlled. The taxi rank and set-down lanes are on Pancras Road, and the short-stay car park and private hire pickup area sit at the northern end of the station, off Pancras Road.
The chauffeur uses the designated pickup area or a legal bay nearby, depending on congestion and any works, and sends the exact point by text as your train reaches the platform. From the Eurostar arrivals exit, allow a few minutes' walk along the arcade to the Pancras Road side.
Car-side meet as standard, arrivals meet as an add-on
Meeting at the car in the pickup area is the standard service. The chauffeur does not wait at the Eurostar arrivals barrier unless you add meet and greet, where available. Add-ons are only available in selected locations, and the booking engine shows whether an arrivals meet can be added for your train.
Tracked arrivals and waiting
We time the pickup to your train's actual arrival. Eurostar can run late when there are problems in the Channel Tunnel or on the French high-speed line, and the chauffeur's schedule moves with it. After the train is in, 15 minutes of waiting is included; any extra waiting is charged in 15-minute blocks as shown when you book.
Luggage
Eurostar allows two large cases plus hand luggage per passenger, and many arrivals come with both. A sedan takes two passengers and two bags; a Standard or Executive Black SUV six and six. Families with prams and cases are best in an SUV or a Sprinter Van.

From St Pancras, King's Cross and the Knowledge Quarter offices are next door; Bloomsbury and Holborn are 10-20 minutes; the City, 15-30 minutes; Mayfair and the West End, 20-35 minutes; Canary Wharf, 25-45 minutes; Kensington and Knightsbridge, 25-45 minutes. St Pancras is just north of the Congestion Charge zone, which begins across Euston Road, so most central trips enter it.
