Sea-Tac's terminal and concourses
SEA has a single main terminal with Concourses A, B, C and D, and two satellites, N and S, reached by an underground train. The International Arrivals Facility, opened in 2022, handles customs for international arrivals and connects by a long aerial walkway to the main terminal.

After customs, international passengers re-enter the main terminal and exit through baggage claim like everyone else, so there is one set of doors to head for.
Where does the chauffeur meet you at Sea-Tac?
Sea-Tac handles taxis, app rides and pre-arranged cars on the third floor of the parking garage, across the skybridges from the baggage claim level. Curbside pickup at the pre-arranged island there is our standard service. The chauffeur messages you after landing with the island or zone; once you have your bags, cross the skybridge and follow the ground transportation signs.
If you would like to be met at baggage claim with a name board, add meet and greet. Add-ons are only available in selected locations.
Customs and immigration timing at SEA
International flights arrive in the International Arrivals Facility, with busy banks from Asia in the afternoon and from Europe in the early afternoon. Most passengers are at the garage in 30 to 60 minutes, including the walk across the aerial bridge. Global Entry members and users of the CBP Mobile Passport Control app generally move faster. Some flights from Canadian airports are pre-cleared at departure and arrive as domestic flights. The first 60 minutes after actual landing are included; waiting beyond that is billed in 15-minute blocks.

SEA is 14 miles south of downtown Seattle, between I-5 and SR 99.

Link light rail from the airport
Sound Transit's 1 Line runs from the SeaTac/Airport station, a short walk from the parking garage, to downtown Seattle's Westlake station in about 40 minutes, and on to Capitol Hill and the University of Washington. Times are on Sound Transit. It is a good option with carry-on bags and a downtown hotel. For the Eastside, cruise luggage, a group or a late-night arrival, a car is faster and simpler.

The Sea-Tac price covers the vehicle and chauffeur, flight tracking and free waiting. Alaska cruise season through Seattle
Seattle is the main US departure port for Alaska cruises, usually from May to September, and weekends see thousands of passengers move between SEA and the piers. Choose a flight that lands by late morning on embarkation day, and book a vehicle with room for luggage. Flying out of Sea-Tac
From downtown, leave 45 to 60 minutes before you want to be at the terminal on a weekday afternoon; from Bellevue or Redmond, allow 50 to 75 minutes, as I-405 is often slow. Aim to be at the airport two hours before a domestic flight and three before an international one. The chauffeur drops you on the upper departures drive at your airline's door.

Seattle's calendar beyond cruise season
The Seattle Seahawks play at Lumen Field from September to January, and the Mariners at T-Mobile Park from spring into autumn, so SoDo traffic builds before home games. Seafair brings hydroplane races and the Blue Angels to Lake Washington in summer, usually in late July or early August, closing the I-90 bridge for periods. PAX West, usually over Labor Day weekend, fills the convention center downtown. Rain is common from October to April; it rarely closes the airport but it slows every freeway.
Driving on to Vancouver
Many travellers land at SEA and continue to Vancouver, British Columbia, about 140 miles north. Allow 2 h 30 to 4 h depending on the queue at the Peace Arch or Pacific Highway border crossings. Every passenger needs a passport or another accepted travel document. Book the trip as an intercity transfer at a fixed fare.
Getting to the Eastside and the tech campuses
Much of the region's business travel ends east of Lake Washington rather than downtown. From SEA, the chauffeur usually takes I-405 north to Bellevue and Redmond, avoiding the I-90 and SR 520 bridges unless they are faster at the time. Bellevue's downtown towers have hotel forecourts and loading bays where the car can stop; larger campuses have visitor pickup points by building, so tell us the building name or number when you book.
