Meeting point on arrival
The chauffeur stands at the FBO's landside entrance, with the car parked in the FBO's customer area. If you would like the car brought to the aircraft, ask at booking. Ramp access is controlled by the FBO and agreed with the aircraft operator, and a busy game day or an aircraft move can mean no. When approval is given, the chauffeur follows the FBO escort; when it is not, the lobby is a few steps from the aircraft.
Customs at Boeing Field
BFI is an airport of entry, and US Customs and Border Protection clears private international arrivals here with advance notice from the operator. Flights from Vancouver, Asia and Europe often land here directly. Passengers and crew present passports to officers before entering the FBO. The SR 520 floating bridge is tolled and I-405 has express toll lanes, both run by WSDOT. The route choice is the chauffeur's, and the fare stays as quoted.
Cruise connections
In summer, many guests fly privately into BFI and board an Alaska cruise the same day at Smith Cove or Bell Street. Book the car from the FBO straight to the pier, with luggage details, and allow for embarkation cut-off times set by the cruise line. Crews, weather and repositioning
Pilots and cabin crew who overnight in Seattle usually stay downtown or near the stadiums, 15 to 25 minutes from the field. Add a crew car to the same booking; a Standard Sedan or Standard Black SUV is enough for three crew and their roller bags. On departure mornings the crew car normally runs well ahead of the passengers so the pre-flight checks can start on time.
Low cloud and rain are routine here, and fog occasionally sends arrivals to Paine Field in Everett or to Sea-Tac. If the aircraft diverts, tell the desk or have your dispatcher update the booking; the affiliate re-routes the car, and a new fare for the new address is confirmed with you before the chauffeur moves. Everett to downtown is usually 35 to 60 minutes.
Rail, ferries and the ride home
Not every BFI passenger stays in the city. King Street Station, for Amtrak Cascades trains to Portland and Vancouver, is 10 to 15 minutes from the field, and Colman Dock, the downtown terminal for Washington State Ferries to Bainbridge Island and Bremerton, is about 20 minutes. For a San Juan Islands home, a car to the Anacortes ferry terminal takes roughly 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. Give the terminal and sailing time, and the chauffeur plans the drop-off around it.
Keeping visits private
Seattle's big employers host frequent confidential visits. Bookings can use initials, the chauffeur sees only what is needed for the trip, and no name board is used unless you ask. Corporate travel teams keep traveller data in their corporate account.
Fare and cancellation
