Ibiza Airport, run by the Spanish airport operator Aena, lies about 7 kilometres south-west of Ibiza Town near Sant Jordi and the salt flats of Ses Salines. Villas, tracks and gate codes
A large share of Ibiza's rental villas sit at the end of rough dirt tracks, locally called caminos, often unlit and unsigned. Send the pin, the gate code and the house manager's number when you book. An SUV copes better with a steep, rutted drive than a low sedan. The chauffeur will not force a vehicle down a track that risks the car or your luggage; if the last stretch is impassable, the house team usually meets you at the road.
