Business aviation at Sydney Airport
Sydney Kingsford Smith sits on Botany Bay, about 8 kilometres south of the CBD. Airline flights use the international terminal (T1) and the domestic terminals (T2 and T3). Cancellations more than 72 hours out carry no fee; closer in, the charge is 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less and 100% at 24 hours or less, including no-shows. Harbour Bridge or Harbour Tunnel?
Trips from the airport to the North Shore, Mosman or the Northern Beaches cross the harbour by either the Sydney Harbour Bridge or the Sydney Harbour Tunnel. Both are tolled in the northbound direction and both jam at peak times. The chauffeur chooses on the day using live traffic, and because the fare is fixed by address, the choice never changes your price. Late at night the crossing takes a few minutes; on a weekday evening it can take half an hour.
