Booking a car at Naples Airport
Open the reservation engine or the book page, choose Naples Airport as the pickup, then add the tail number where the flight number would go. The airport and its FBO
Naples Airport is owned and run by the Naples Airport Authority and sits about two miles east of downtown, between Airport-Pulling Road and Radio Road. It has no scheduled airline service, so almost everyone arriving is on a private or charter aircraft. The authority operates the FBO itself under the name Naples Aviation, on the ground floor of the general aviation terminal. The terminal's published hours are roughly 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; your flight department will know the current hours and any noise rules.
Because the airport authority is also the FBO, there is one front door for passengers. The chauffeur parks in the terminal's customer area and waits there.
FBO door or planeside?
The standard pickup is outside the general aviation terminal. Line staff bring bags from the aircraft to the car, and the walk from the ramp gate is short. If you want the vehicle beside the aircraft, ask when you book. We forward the chauffeur's name, the plate and the vehicle to the FBO, but a planeside meeting only goes ahead when Naples Aviation's ramp procedures and your aircraft operator both approve it for that arrival. In peak season, with the ramp full on a Friday afternoon, the answer is often no, and we will tell you before you land.
Customs for international arrivals
Naples Airport has a US Customs and Border Protection inspection station on the field, so private flights from the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Mexico or Canada can clear here when officers are on duty. The published inspection hours have been 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily, and your operator must give advance notice through CBP. Outside those hours, aircraft usually clear at another airport of entry, such as Fort Myers or Miami, and continue to APF domestically.

US 41, known locally as Tamiami Trail, is slowest between January and April, when seasonal residents return. Alligator Alley is a tolled stretch of I-75 run by FDOT; the fare you confirm already covers the route.
Luggage, golf bags and fishing gear
Naples arrivals pack for months, not days: several large suitcases, golf bags for Quail West or Naples National, and sometimes fishing rods for a charter out of the city dock. A Standard Black SUV or Executive Black SUV seats six with six bags, so a couple with four suitcases and two sets of clubs fits comfortably. Season, storms and busy weeks
Private traffic peaks from the Christmas holidays through Easter. The Naples Winter Wine Festival is usually held in late January and fills the ramp for a weekend, and Presidents' Day and March bring the spring rush. June to November is the Atlantic hurricane season; when a storm is forecast, aircraft move out early and FBO hours can change at short notice. If your flight is moved, change the booking or ask the desk, and the affiliate adjusts the pickup.
Crew transport
Crews overnighting in Naples usually stay near the airport or along US 41, five to fifteen minutes away. Add the crew as a second vehicle on the same reservation so both cars are timed to one landing. On departure day, the crew car normally runs ahead of the passengers so pre-flight checks are done before the principals arrive at the terminal.
