Terminals 2, 4 and 5
Arlanda, run by the state airport operator Swedavia, sits between Stockholm and Uppsala. Terminal 5 is the main international terminal and handles SAS and most long-haul and European network airlines. Terminal 4 handles most domestic flights, and Terminal 2 is used by a group of international carriers. Terminals 4 and 5 are linked by the Sky City walkway; Terminal 2 is a short shuttle or walk further along. Your flight number tells the dispatch desk which terminal to brief the chauffeur for, and a late gate or terminal change is picked up from the flight data.
Where the chauffeur meets you
Pickup is curbside at the designated area for pre-booked and commercial vehicles outside your arrival terminal. After baggage reclaim, call or message the chauffeur, who will confirm the pickup point and meet you at the car. Standard bookings do not include a meeting inside the arrivals hall.

Passport control, EES and customs at Arlanda
Sweden is in Schengen. Flights from within Schengen arrive without passport checks. Arrivals from the UK, the US, the Middle East and Asia go through Swedish border police, where the EU Entry/Exit System now takes fingerprints and a facial image from non-EU visitors on first entry. ETIAS has not launched, so there is no authorisation to apply for yet. Swedish Customs uses green, red and blue channels, the blue one for travellers arriving from other EU countries. From landing to the kerb, allow 20 to 40 minutes on a non-Schengen arrival; the included 60 minutes normally cover it.

Stockholm charges a congestion tax on vehicles driving into and out of the inner city, and on the Essingeleden bypass, on weekdays during the day; details are on the Swedish Transport Agency site. Winter tyres are compulsory from December to March when roads are wintry, and the affiliate's cars are fitted accordingly.
Arlanda Express and other trains
The Arlanda Express reaches Stockholm Central in about 18 minutes, from stations below Terminal 5 and between Terminals 2 and 4. Commuter trains and SJ long-distance services also call at Arlanda Central station, including trains to Uppsala. If you travel light and your hotel is near Central, the train is quick. A chauffeur saves the second leg from Central to the door, which matters with luggage, in snow, with children or on a late flight, and it suits destinations far from the rail line such as Djursholm, Lidingö or Saltsjöbaden.

Winter arrivals at Arlanda
From November to March, Stockholm has short days, frequent snow and temperatures well below freezing, and flights at Arlanda can be held for de-icing or runway clearing. Airport roads are cleared quickly, but the E4 into the city can slow to a crawl in heavy snowfall, which is when a fixed fare earns its keep. Late flights, waiting and cancelling
If you land late, the chauffeur follows the new arrival time and the delay is not charged. Once the included waiting has passed, extra time is added in 15-minute blocks. Cancel more than 72 hours before pickup and you pay nothing; inside 72 hours it is 10%, inside 48 hours 50%, and inside 24 hours or for a no-show 100%.
