T1 or T2 at Barcelona airport?
- Terminal 1 is the newer, larger building on the south side. It handles most full-service and long-haul airlines, including Vueling and the major alliances.
- Terminal 2, divided into T2A, T2B and T2C, is the older building to the north, used by several low-cost carriers.
The two are roughly 4 km apart by road and linked by a free shuttle bus. Check your ticket, because a chauffeur waiting at the wrong terminal costs everyone time.
Where is the pickup point?
The standard BlaakLane.com pickup at El Prat is curbside, at the zone set aside for pre-booked private transfers and VTC vehicles outside arrivals, following the airport's rules for that terminal. Arrival formalities and timing

Barcelona applies a low-emission zone inside the Rondes ring roads on weekdays, and the Ronda Litoral and Gran Via approaches back up in the morning and evening. During Mobile World Congress, usually in late February or early March, the Fira Gran Via area is busy all week.

What is included
Your fixed fare covers the car and chauffeur, flight tracking and the waiting allowance; gratuity is not in it and is added to your Barcelona booking at actual cost. Child seats are available on request free of charge. Extra stops, such as collecting a colleague from a hotel on the way, can be added in the booker and are priced before you confirm.
Train, metro and bus options at El Prat
Rodalies line R2 Nord runs from the station near T2 to Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gracia and Clot in roughly 20-30 minutes; T1 passengers take the free shuttle to reach it. Metro line L9 Sud serves both terminals and connects with other lines at Zona Universitaria and Torrassa, a longer trip into the centre. The Aerobus runs to Placa de Catalunya. Flying in for a cruise from Barcelona
Barcelona is one of the Mediterranean's busiest cruise ports, and many passengers fly in on sailing day. The terminals at the Moll Adossat are 15-25 minutes from El Prat. Departures from BCN
Arrive two hours ahead for European flights and three hours for long-haul in summer, when T1 security gets busy. From Eixample, most pickups are set about 50-60 minutes before you want to be at the terminal. Drop-off is at the departures level of whichever terminal your airline uses.
Corporate and congress travel
Barcelona's congress calendar is dense, with Mobile World Congress, ISE and many medical meetings at Fira Gran Via and the CCIB. Cancelling or changing a booking
Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup. It costs 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and the full fare at 24 hours or less or for a no-show.

Summer peaks, old streets and stadium days
Barcelona's busiest months are June to September, when cruise turnarounds, beach hotels and conference traffic overlap. Weekend mornings are the heaviest for cruise passengers, as ships finish one sailing and begin the next. In the old city, many streets in the Gothic Quarter and El Born are closed to general traffic or too narrow for larger vehicles, and La Rambla is largely pedestrian, so the chauffeur stops at the nearest permitted point, often on Via Laietana or a side street, and helps you with bags. The streets around the Sagrada Familia have limited stopping space too.
