Events and seasonal peaks in Jeddah
Jeddah hosts the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, usually in spring, the Red Sea International Film Festival, usually in December, and summer events along the waterfront. Driving in Jeddah
Saudi Arabia drives on the right, and the weekend is Friday and Saturday. Traffic on King Abdulaziz Road, Prince Sultan Road and around the Corniche peaks in the evening, especially in the cooler months and during Ramadan, which moves about 11 days earlier each year. The climate is hot and humid for much of the year.
