Terminal A, Terminal B or Terminal C?
MCO has two terminal buildings.
- The north terminal holds Terminals A and B, which share one landside building with the hotel in the middle and four airside gate complexes reached by shuttle trains.
- Terminal C, opened in 2022 to the south, handles a growing list of domestic and international airlines and connects to the Brightline rail station.
The airline decides which terminal you use, and some carriers moved to Terminal C in stages, so the booker uses your flight number to route the chauffeur. If you are unsure, the airline's own site or the Orlando International Airport website lists current terminal assignments.
Where is the pickup point at MCO?
The standard meeting point is curbside in the commercial ground transportation area on the arrivals side of your terminal, where pre-arranged vehicles, shuttles and limousines are staged separately from private cars. In the north terminal that means the ground transportation level below baggage claim for A and B; at Terminal C it is the commercial curb signposted from its baggage hall. Your chauffeur messages you with the exact position once your bags are in hand.
A name-board meet and greet at baggage claim is an add-on. Add-ons are only available in selected locations. For a family arriving with young children and a stroller after an overnight flight, it is often worth adding if the booker offers it for your time.
International arrivals and customs
Passengers arriving from abroad clear US Customs and Border Protection at the federal inspection facility of their terminal. Typical time from touchdown to the curb is 40 to 90 minutes; Saturday afternoons, when several flights from the UK, Brazil and Europe land close together, are the slowest. ESTA holders should have their approval before travel, and returning US residents can use Mobile Passport Control or Global Entry to shorten the wait.
The chauffeur waits 60 minutes from the actual landing time on an international flight and 30 minutes on a domestic one, both included. After that, waiting is added in 15-minute blocks.

Is there a train from MCO?
Yes, one. Brightline's Orlando station sits at the Terminal C intermodal complex and runs intercity trains south to West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami, roughly three and a half hours to the end of the line. Brightline is a good option for travellers heading to South Florida without a car. There is no rail service from the airport to Disney, Universal or downtown Orlando; SunRail, the commuter line, does not stop at the airport. LYNX buses do serve the terminals.

Cruise transfers to Port Canaveral
Many MCO arrivals are cruise passengers. The drive east on the Beachline to the cruise terminals at Port Canaveral takes about 45 to 60 minutes. Book the airport pickup with the ship's terminal number as the destination, and allow for check-in windows: most lines open boarding around midday, and flights landing after about 1 pm on sailing day leave very little margin. Conventions and the parks calendar
The Orange County Convention Center is among the largest in the US and hosts trade shows most months of the year. Peak family travel follows school holidays: spring break in March, summer from June to August, Thanksgiving week and Christmas to New Year. The Visit Orlando site lists major events. Groups moving from the airport to a convention hotel in waves can ask for group transportation, planned by a coordinator and confirmed in writing.
Getting back to MCO for your flight
On the return, leave Disney-area resorts about three hours before an international departure and two and a half hours before a domestic one; the security checkpoints in the north terminal can take 45 minutes or more on busy Saturdays and during school holidays. From Port Canaveral on disembarkation morning, ships usually clear passengers from about 7 am, and a flight before noon is tight. The chauffeur drops you at your airline's departure curb on the upper level of the correct terminal.
