The new SLC terminal
Salt Lake City International opened its rebuilt airport in 2020, replacing the old terminals with a single terminal and two long parallel concourses, A and B, linked by a tunnel. It is a big building: the walk from a far gate to baggage claim can take 15 to 20 minutes, and there are moving walkways along the way. Winter driving in the Wasatch

Utah's Department of Transportation enforces a traction law in Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons during storms, which requires four-wheel drive or chains, and Little Cottonwood Canyon Road can close for avalanche control.
