Jackson Hole Airport is the only commercial airport located inside a US national park, on the valley floor of Grand Teton National Park about nine miles north of the Town of Jackson. That setting means dramatic views on landing and some practical limits: wildlife on the roads, winter storms and a small terminal that gets busy when several flights land at once. The JAC terminal
The airport has one terminal with a single baggage claim hall. Seasonal nonstops from major US hubs arrive in winter and summer, while spring and autumn schedules are lighter. Meeting your chauffeur at JAC
Standard service is curbside. Pre-arranged vehicles use the commercial ground transportation area the airport designates outside the terminal. Once bags and skis are off the belt, call or text the chauffeur and walk out to the commercial curb. A greeting inside the terminal with a name board is an add-on, meet and greet. Add-ons are only available in selected locations; the booking engine shows whether one can be added at JAC.

The Moose-Wilson Road inside the park is narrow, partly unpaved and closed to through traffic in winter, so winter Teton Village runs go back through town and out Highway 22 and 390. START, the Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit bus, serves the town and Teton Village. Hotels on the Town Square are close together, so if two parties in your group are staying at different lodges, add both addresses to one booking and the chauffeur will drop in the order you choose.
Winter roads, Teton Pass and wildlife
Winter in Jackson Hole means snow-packed roads, sudden whiteouts and temporary closures of Wyoming Highway 22 over Teton Pass for avalanche work. Moose, elk and bison cross the highways day and night, and the speed limits through the park exist for that reason. Check Wyoming 511 before a long transfer. Affiliates assign four-wheel drive SUVs with winter tyres on snow-season trips.

National park touring from the airport
Summer visitors often go straight from the plane into Grand Teton or Yellowstone. An hourly chauffeur booked for three hours or more can take in the Jenny Lake area, Signal Mountain or the Snake River Overlook before the hotel check-in, and longer day trips can reach Old Faithful. Park entrance fees are charged by the National Park Service and are paid by the passenger. Wildlife viewing stops are at the passenger's request, and the chauffeur will use the pull-outs the park provides rather than stopping on the road.
Waiting, delays and changes
Waiting is included for 30 minutes after the actual landing of a domestic flight; after that, 15-minute blocks apply. Weather holds at Denver, Salt Lake City or Dallas are common in winter, and the chauffeur's timing follows the flight. Cancellation terms: free more than 72 hours out, then 10% (72 hours or less), 50% (48 hours or less) and 100% (24 hours or less, or no-show).
