Rail, roads and weather
Amtrak's California Zephyr, which runs between Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area, stops at Omaha's station south of the Old Market once a day in each direction, at late or very early hours; timetables are on Amtrak. The city runs on Central time, and traffic drives on the right. There are no toll roads in the metro, and the Missouri River bridges to Council Bluffs are free.
