International and domestic trains at Midi
Brussels-Midi (Bruxelles-Midi in French, Brussel-Zuid in Dutch) is Belgium's busiest station and its high-speed gateway.

Station sides and where cars stop
The station is long and sits between the Saint-Gilles and Anderlecht communes. The main sides are the Place Victor Horta side, where the Eurostar terminal entrance is, and the Avenue Fonsny side, with a further entrance near Rue de France. Taxi ranks and pick-up zones for pre-booked cars are on the street sides of the building, and major works around the station have moved access more than once. Rather than guess, we send the current meeting point by message before your train arrives.
How the meeting works
The standard service is curbside at the designated pick-up area, with the chauffeur waiting by the car. The chauffeur does not come to the platform or into the Eurostar hall by default. A concourse meet is an add-on and add-ons are only available in selected locations; the booking engine shows whether it is offered for your time. See meet and greet.
The booking is linked to your train number. If the Eurostar from London is held in the tunnel, the pickup moves with it. Included waiting is 15 minutes after the actual arrival, then 15-minute blocks.
Arriving from London: what to expect
Eurostar passengers from London clear French and Belgian border formalities before boarding at St Pancras, so on arrival at Midi you simply walk off the train, down to the underpass and out. There is no customs hall to wait for and no queue at passport control, which is why the chauffeur can be timed closely to the scheduled arrival. If you are coming from Paris or Amsterdam the process is the same. Trains from London arrive at the platforms nearest the Eurostar terminal, so the Place Victor Horta side is often the most direct exit.
Luggage and the Midi platforms
Platforms are reached from a long underpass, with escalators and lifts in each section. It is a big station, so if you have a lot of luggage, give us your coach number and we will suggest the nearest exit. A Luxury Executive Sedan takes two people and two cases; four travellers with full-size bags should choose a Standard Black SUV.

Most visitors from Midi head to the European Quarter around Schuman or to law firms, embassies and associations along Avenue Louise and the Rue de la Loi. Security perimeters go up around EU summits and major meetings and can close streets at short notice. Intercity alternatives by car
Belgium is compact, which makes road transfers practical. Ghent is about 50 minutes, Antwerp about 50 minutes to an hour, Bruges about 1 h 15 (roughly 100 km), Leuven about 30 minutes and Waterloo about 30 minutes.
