One terminal, two piers
Brussels Airport in Zaventem, about 12 km north-east of the city centre, has a single terminal building. Pier A serves Schengen flights and Pier B serves non-Schengen flights, including the UK, North America, Africa and the Gulf. Both piers feed into the same baggage reclaim and arrivals hall, and the railway station sits beneath the terminal. Where you meet the chauffeur
Pickup is curbside at the airport's designated area for pre-booked and commercial vehicles. When you have your luggage, call or message the chauffeur, who is already nearby and will confirm the exact spot. On a standard booking the chauffeur does not come into the arrivals hall.

Border checks and the Entry/Exit System
Belgium is a Schengen country, so Pier A passengers usually walk straight to baggage reclaim. Trains from Brussels Airport
The station below the terminal has frequent SNCB trains to Brussels-Nord, Brussels-Central and Brussels-Midi, taking about 17 to 25 minutes, plus direct services to Antwerp, Ghent, Leuven and Bruges. A station supplement applies to airport rail tickets. Trains suit a traveller with one bag staying near Central. A chauffeur is simpler with luggage, for a door-to-door arrival at an institution or a residence, for a group, or when a late flight lands after the rail timetable thins out. The Ring and the E40 into Zaventem are slowest between about 07:00 and 09:30 and again from 16:00 to 19:00, and a summit or a state visit can close roads in the European Quarter with little notice. Leaving the city centre at those times, allow 45 to 60 minutes for the drive rather than the 25 minutes it takes at midday, then add the check-in time your airline asks for. Passengers flying to the UK or long-haul leave from Pier B and pass an exit passport check, where the Entry/Exit System records non-EU visitors' departure, so give that part of the airport extra time. Delays and cancellation terms
A late flight moves the pickup with it, and the delay itself costs nothing. Extra waiting after the included period is charged in 15-minute blocks. Free cancellation runs until 72 hours before pickup. After that, the fee is 10% inside 72 hours, 50% inside 48 hours and 100% inside 24 hours or for a no-show.
Antwerp, Amsterdam, Paris and nearby airports
