The station, formally William H. Gray III 30th Street Station, is one of the busiest on the Amtrak network.

The building, its entrances and the pickup lanes
The limestone station occupies the block between Market Street and JFK Boulevard at 30th Street, on the west bank of the Schuylkill River. Its main hall has entrances on Market Street, on 30th Street and on the Arch Street side, with a long driveway along the 30th Street facade used for taxis and drop-offs, and a parking garage beside it. The area around the station is being redeveloped under the long-term district plan, and lane layouts can change.
Private cars use the drop-off and pickup lanes along the 30th Street side, or a legal curb on Market Street or Arch Street when those are congested. The chauffeur texts the exact door as your train pulls in. From the Amtrak platforms, the stairs and escalators rise straight into the main hall, so the walk to the curb is short.
How the meeting works
Curbside pickup is the standard service. The chauffeur does not come into the main hall by default. An inside meet under the departures board can be added as meet and greet; add-ons are only available in selected locations, and the booking engine shows whether it can be added for your time.
