MTY terminals A, B and C
The airport is in Apodaca, roughly 24 km northeast of central Monterrey, and is operated by Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMA). Passengers use three terminals. Terminal C is the base of VivaAerobus. Terminal B has been the Aeromexico hub. Terminal A handles most other airlines, including many international flights. Arriving from abroad: immigration and customs
International arrivals clear Mexican immigration, where major airports now record entry digitally, then baggage reclaim and customs with its random red or green light. A Houston or Dallas flight that lands on its own is often out in 20 to 35 minutes. When several US and Latin American flights arrive together in the early afternoon, allow 45 minutes or more. The National Migration Institute sets the entry rules.

Weekday peaks on the Periferico and the Miguel Aleman highway can add 20 to 30 minutes, and heavy summer storms slow everything. Rail options to and from the airport
Monterrey's Metrorrey network serves the city but has not been a practical way to reach the terminals, and there is no intercity passenger rail to the border or to Saltillo.
