Boise Airport (BOI): terminal, curb and timing
Boise Airport sits about three miles south of downtown, just off I-84 and Vista Avenue. It has one terminal with two concourses, B and C, joined behind a single security checkpoint, and one baggage claim hall. Sun Valley, McCall and the long drives
Many Boise bookings are one-way or return trips into the mountains. Sun Valley and Ketchum are roughly three hours east by way of Mountain Home and Highway 20, and many travellers fly into Boise when Friedman Memorial Airport in Hailey has limited seats or weather delays. McCall and Payette Lake are about two hours north on Highway 55. Local driving notes
Idaho drives on the right. The main arteries are I-84 east to west, the I-184 Connector into downtown, and Eagle Road, which carries heavy retail and commuter traffic through Meridian. Road conditions statewide are posted by the Idaho Transportation Department. Winter brings snow and ice, especially on mountain passes, and wildlife is common on rural highways at dusk.
