The difference matters: from UVF, the north-west resort strip is more than an hour away, while from SLU it is minutes. Pickup at Hewanorra and at George F. L. Charles
At both airports, standard pickup is at the designated pre-arranged pickup area outside arrivals once you have cleared immigration and customs. The chauffeur messages the car details as you exit. A meet and greet with a name board is an add-on, and add-ons are only available in selected locations.
Flights are tracked and the chauffeur is timed to the actual landing. International arrivals include 60 minutes of waiting from touchdown, then 15-minute blocks. From UVF, drivers choose between the east-coast highway through Dennery, which is faster to the north, and the west-coast road through Choiseul, which is the direct way to Soufrière. Soufrière and the Pitons

Castries and the cruise piers
Port Castries has two cruise areas, Pointe Seraphine on the north side of the harbour and La Place Carenage close to downtown. Your chauffeur meets you at the port's designated transport area. For the long UVF run, comfort matters more than on a short airport hop. An executive SUV is the most requested class, with room for luggage and a smoother ride on broken tarmac. Road rules and local realities
St. Lucia drives on the left. Mountain roads have hairpins, steep grades and few guard rails, and heavy rain can slow the east-coast highway. Night driving on the west-coast road is best left to a local chauffeur.
Festivals and peak times
