Business aviation at Cape Town International
Cape Town International lies about 20 kilometres east of the city centre, on the Cape Flats beside the N2. Airline flights use the main domestic and international terminals. Private flights are handled by ExecuJet, which operates an FBO at the airport with its own lounge and processing for private passengers. The airport is run by Airports Company South Africa. Long-range jets from Europe and the Gulf arrive in numbers during the southern summer.

Summer season and events

Chapman's Peak closes at times for rockfall safety or strong wind, and there is a longer inland route when it does.
