The FBOs at Pearson
Business aviation at Pearson is handled away from Terminals 1 and 3. Skyservice Business Aviation operates Skyservice Toronto Midfield, the largest business aviation centre in Canada, and a newer Toronto South facility reserved for aircraft it manages. Signature Aviation also runs an FBO on the field. Each has its own landside entrance and parking, and the drive between them takes several minutes around the airfield, so the FBO name in your booking matters.
Pickup at the FBO door, and planeside requests
As standard, the chauffeur waits at your FBO's front entrance and messages you on landing. If you would like the car brought to the aircraft, ask when you book. Airside access at Pearson is controlled by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority and the FBO, and it also needs your aircraft operator's consent; in practice it is agreed case by case and can be refused on the day. We forward the vehicle and chauffeur details and tell you the outcome, but we do not promise planeside service.
Clearing CBSA at a Pearson FBO
International private arrivals clear the Canada Border Services Agency at the FBO rather than in the terminal halls. The operator reports the arrival in advance, and officers often meet the aircraft or clear passengers in the FBO. Travellers who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents need the right documents, such as a visa or an eTA for visa-exempt nationals arriving by air; the rules are on Canada.ca. Our included waiting starts at the actual landing: 60 minutes on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic flights, then 15-minute blocks.

Bags, hockey gear and film-festival wardrobes
Toronto arrivals range from a single executive with a roller bag to a touring party with wardrobe trunks. A Standard Black SUV or Executive Black SUV takes six passengers with six bags. A Sprinter Van seats 12 with 12 small bags, and for a band, a film crew or a sports team a coordinator can add a luggage vehicle, planned and confirmed in writing through entertainment and touring or group transportation.

- Luxury Executive Sedan: an S-Class class car to a Bay Street meeting.

TIFF, finance weeks and other busy periods
Early September's Toronto International Film Festival brings a wave of private arrivals and red-carpet schedules around King Street West. Bank earnings seasons and investor conferences keep Bay Street busy through the year, and summer long weekends send Pearson arrivals north to Muskoka cottages. Winter and weather
Snow squalls and freezing rain can slow the 401 and hold departures for deicing. Because the chauffeur tracks the tail number, a late arrival moves the pickup automatically. A diversion to another airport, such as Hamilton or Ottawa, is a new pickup address, so the desk confirms a new fixed fare before the car goes.
Crew cars
Crews usually stay at airport hotels on Dixon Road or in the Airport Corporate Centre, 5 to 15 minutes from the FBOs, or downtown for longer layovers. Add the crew as a second vehicle on the same booking, and on departure day schedule their pickup ahead of the passengers so the aircraft is ready on time. Airline and charter crews can also use the airline crew transportation programme.
Discretion for visiting principals
Bookings can list initials, no name board is shown at the FBO unless you ask, and trip details stay inside the booking. Corporate travellers can keep profiles, cost centres and duty-of-care trip data in a corporate account.
Fare and cancellation
The fare includes the car, the chauffeur and the route to your address, and hourly service starts at three hours. Planning ranges sit on the rates page. There is no charge to cancel more than 72 hours ahead; at 72 hours or less the fee is 10%, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less or for a no-show 100%.
