How to book a Pearson airport limo

Terminal 1 or Terminal 3?
Pearson has two passenger terminals, connected by the free Terminal Link train.
- Terminal 1 is Air Canada's hub and serves its Star Alliance partners. It handles domestic, US-bound and international flights in separate piers.
- Terminal 3 serves WestJet and most other airlines, including many European, Asian and Caribbean carriers.
Some airlines have moved between terminals in recent years, so check your booking; the dispatch desk also reads the terminal from your flight number. The Toronto Pearson website has current airline assignments.
Where is the pickup at Pearson?
The standard pickup is curbside at the designated commercial and pre-arranged vehicle area on the arrivals level of your terminal. Pearson manages commercial pickups closely, and pre-arranged vehicles use the zone the airport assigns rather than the general arrivals curb. Your chauffeur texts the exact door and pillar number once you are through customs or at baggage claim.
A meet and greet in the arrivals hall, with the chauffeur holding a name board as you come out of the customs doors, is an add-on at booking. Add-ons are only available in selected locations; it is widely requested at Pearson by first-time visitors and families.
Customs timing at Pearson
International and US arrivals pass through Canada Border Services Agency inspection, using self-serve kiosks or eGates before a brief check. You can submit your customs declaration in advance through the ArriveCAN app or the airport's online option to save time at the kiosks. Plan on 30 to 90 minutes from landing to the curb; mid-afternoon, when several long-haul flights from Europe and Asia land at once, is the slowest period, and baggage delivery at Terminal 3 can add time.
Visa-exempt foreign nationals flying to Canada, other than US citizens, need an Electronic Travel Authorization before boarding.
After an international landing, including flights from the US, 60 minutes of waiting are included from the actual landing time; after a domestic Canadian flight, 30 minutes. Longer waits are charged in 15-minute blocks.

Pearson is in Mississauga, about 25 km northwest of downtown Toronto, between Highways 401, 427 and 409.

Highway 407 ETR is an electronic toll road that can save 20 minutes or more at rush hour for trips to Vaughan, Markham and Oakville. The chauffeur chooses the route.
UP Express and other rail options
The UP Express train runs from Terminal 1 to Union Station in about 25 minutes, every 15 minutes for most of the day, with stops at Weston and Bloor. Terminal 3 passengers ride the Terminal Link to reach it. At Toronto Union Station you can connect to VIA Rail and GO Transit. The train is fast for a solo traveller with light bags heading downtown; for Yorkville, the suburbs or a group with luggage, a car is door to door.

Home dispatch area advantages
Because the dispatch desk sits in Toronto, Pearson trips are coordinated by people who know the airport's curbs, the 401 collector lanes and the Gardiner closures that come every spring and autumn. If your plans change after landing, for example a stop in Etobicoke on the way downtown, message the desk and the change is priced and confirmed before the chauffeur drives it.
Winter at Pearson
Toronto winters bring snow from December to March, and Pearson sometimes holds departures for de-icing. The chauffeur's timing follows your actual landing, so a late arrival does not use up your waiting allowance. Highways are cleared quickly, but a heavy snowfall can double the drive downtown, so leave more time for departures on storm days.
Business, film and events
Pearson is Canada's busiest airport and the main gateway for Toronto's banks, insurers and technology firms, and for the film and television productions that shoot across the city. The Toronto International Film Festival usually runs in September, the Canadian National Exhibition from mid-August to Labour Day, and the Toronto Caribbean Carnival in late July and early August. Fare and cancellation
Your fixed fare covers the vehicle, the chauffeur, the route and the included waiting, and child seats are free on request. See rates for planning ranges. Cancelling more than 72 hours before pickup is free; within 72 hours, 10% applies; within 48 hours, 50%; within 24 hours or for a no-show, 100%.
Departures, US preclearance and onward trips
Flights from Pearson to the United States clear US Customs and Border Protection preclearance before boarding, so allow three hours before a US departure and three hours before an international flight at busy times.
