Booking a car at Toronto Union Station
Choose Toronto Union Station in the reservation engine, enter the train and date, your destination and a vehicle class. The fare shown is fixed, and a slow Gardiner Expressway changes nothing.

Rail services at Union Station
Union is Canada's busiest transport hub.
- VIA Rail: Corridor trains to Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, London and Windsor, and the Canadian to Winnipeg, Jasper and Vancouver. See VIA Rail.
- Amtrak: the Maple Leaf to Niagara Falls and New York, operated jointly with VIA; border inspection happens at Niagara Falls.
- GO Transit: all seven regional rail lines, from Lakeshore West to Barrie, run by Metrolinx; see GO Transit.
- UP Express: the airport train to Pearson in about 25 minutes.
- TTC: Line 1 Yonge-University subway and the 509 and 510 streetcars.
Entrances, Front Street and pickup points
The columned headhouse runs along Front Street West between Bay Street and York Street, opposite the Royal York hotel. The Great Hall opens onto Front Street; the York concourse and Bay concourse lead to exits at York Street, Bay Street and the Union Station Bus Terminal inside CIBC Square to the south-east. The PATH network connects underground to the Financial District towers, and the UP Express terminal is reached by the SkyWalk toward the convention centre.
Front Street was rebuilt with wide sidewalks and a narrow roadway, and much of the curb in front of the station is taxi stand or signed no-stopping. Pickups work best at the lay-bys and legal curbs on Front Street, York Street or Bay Street, or on Station Street near the York concourse. The chauffeur texts the spot as your train arrives, and you exit through the nearest concourse.
Curbside by default, concourse meet on request
Curbside pickup is the standard service. The chauffeur does not come to the platform or the concourse by default. An inside meet at the VIA arrivals area can be added as meet and greet; add-ons are only available in selected locations, and the booking engine shows whether it can be added for your train.
Train tracking
The chauffeur is timed to your train's actual arrival. VIA Corridor trains share track with freight and can be late; GO trains are frequent and usually punctual. A quarter of an hour of waiting comes with the booking; longer waits are billed per 15 minutes.
Luggage and the walk to the car
VIA passengers from Montreal or Ottawa usually have rolling cases, and those coming off the Canadian can have several weeks' luggage plus checked bags from the baggage area. Tell us your bag count: sedans take two, SUVs six, a Sprinter Van 12 small bags.

Events, winter and accounts
TIFF in September, Leafs and Raptors games at Scotiabank Arena beside the station, and Blue Jays games at Rogers Centre next door close streets around Union. Snow from December to March slows everything. Toronto firms can use corporate accounts with monthly invoicing, and hourly chauffeur service has a three-hour minimum. Heading to a train at Union
For departures, we time the pickup so you reach the station with enough room for VIA's boarding process, which usually opens 30 to 45 minutes before a Corridor train and earlier for the Canadian. The chauffeur sets you down at the legal curb closest to the concourse you need: York concourse for most VIA trains, Bay concourse for many GO departures, and the Front Street entrance for the Great Hall. For the UP Express to Pearson, ask to be dropped near the SkyWalk. Travellers heading across the border on the Maple Leaf should carry passports; United States inspection takes place at Niagara Falls, and Amtrak sets the arrival margin.
