Soekarno-Hatta's three terminals
The airport lies in Tangerang, about 20 km west-northwest of central Jakarta, and is Indonesia's busiest gateway. An automated Skytrain (Kalayang) links the terminals with the airport railway station, so a wrong-terminal mistake can be fixed, but it costs time.

The Soekarno-Hatta Airport Rail Link runs from the airport station to BNI City (for Sudirman) and Manggarai, with journey times of roughly 45 to 55 minutes, and the Skytrain connects it to all terminals. It is a sensible choice for a light traveller staying near Sudirman. With family luggage, a destination away from the line, or a late-night landing after the last train, a car saves the transfers. Halim and private aviation
