Sangster International (MBJ): how the pickup works
Sangster is Jamaica's busiest airport and handles most of the island's tourist arrivals. After immigration and customs on the ground floor, you exit into the ground transportation and arrivals area, where licensed transport operators collect pre-booked passengers. That designated commercial pickup area is where the standard pickup happens, and your chauffeur messages the meeting point and vehicle details as you clear customs. Every flight is tracked, so the chauffeur works to the real landing time. Which vehicle to choose for a Jamaica resort transfer

Driving in western Jamaica
Jamaica drives on the left. The A1 North Coast Highway links Negril, Montego Bay, Falmouth and Ocho Rios; it is well surfaced but passes through towns, school zones and roundabouts, and it shares space with route taxis and minibuses that stop without much warning. Going south to Kingston, the tolled Edward Seaga North-South Highway (part of Highway 2000) cuts hours off the old mountain road. Rose Hall, Round Hill and the Hip Strip
The resort corridor east of the airport runs through Ironshore and Rose Hall, with Half Moon, the Rose Hall Great House, the golf courses of Cinnamon Hill and White Witch, and the Montego Bay Convention Centre. West of town, the road climbs to Hopewell for Round Hill and continues to Tryall in Hanover. Gloucester Avenue, known as the Hip Strip, holds the older beach hotels, Doctor's Cave Beach and the busiest evening restaurants. Cruise pier pickups: Montego Bay and Falmouth
Two ports serve cruise ships in this area. More than 72 hours before pickup, cancellation costs nothing. Inside 72 hours a 10 % charge applies, rising to 50 % inside 48 hours and to the full fare inside 24 hours or for a no-show. Flight delays are handled by tracking, not by a cancellation.
