Nice private jet car service at a glance
Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) is built on reclaimed land at the mouth of the Var, about 7 km west of the Promenade des Anglais, and is run by Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur. After Paris-Le Bourget it is one of the busiest business aviation airports in France, with parking for around 120 business aircraft. From May to September, and again for the Monaco Yacht Show, the apron is full.
Private flights are processed in the business aviation terminal, a building of about 1,500 square metres opened in 2010 next to Terminal 2. It has its own customs post, lounges and security lanes, so you never walk through the airline halls.

The handlers: Signature, DC Aviation and Aviavip
The airport limits ground handling for business aviation to a small number of providers. Signature, DC Aviation and Aviavip all work from the business aviation terminal. Whichever one your crew has chosen, the passenger exit is the same building, but the handler's name helps the chauffeur coordinate the exact release time with the right desk.
Where the chauffeur waits
Your car stands at the landside forecourt of the business aviation terminal. A planeside pickup, with the car on the apron next to the aircraft stairs, is possible only when the handler and the aircraft operator both approve it and the airport's airside rules permit that vehicle that day. We ask for it on request. We do not guarantee it.
Schengen entry at NCE
France is in the Schengen Area. Passengers on flights from outside Schengen, including the UK, the United States and the Gulf, have their passports checked by the border police at the business aviation terminal, and customs may inspect bags. Flights from within Schengen normally skip passport control. Non-EU travellers should check whether they need a visa, and note that the EU's Entry/Exit System now records non-EU visitors at the border. Official guidance is on French customs.
Timing: the chauffeur follows the flight and is set to the actual landing. Included waiting is 60 minutes on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic French flights, then 15-minute blocks.

The A8 autoroute, a toll road, is the fast road east and west. In July and August, the coast roads into Saint-Tropez and the Monaco tunnels can double those times. The helicopter link from Nice to Monaco takes about 7 minutes, and some guests fly across while the car takes the luggage by road; tell us and we will time the car to meet you at the Monaco heliport.
Choosing the vehicle

A Luxury Stretch Limo or Party Bus suits an evening at a Monaco gala more than an arrival. Old-town lanes in Èze and Saint-Paul-de-Vence are narrow, so a sedan is often easier than an SUV for the last few hundred metres.
Yacht transfers
Many NCE arrivals go straight to a yacht in Monaco's Port Hercule, Antibes' Port Vauban, Beaulieu or Cannes. Give us the marina, the berth or the yacht's tender point, and a crew contact. Riviera calendar
The Cannes Film Festival is usually in May, the Monaco Grand Prix usually in late May or early June, and the Monaco Yacht Show usually in September. On those weeks the business aviation terminal runs at capacity, road closures in Monaco are extensive, and chauffeurs are booked out early. Reserve as soon as the flight is planned. Keeping it private
Chauffeurs carry no sign unless you ask, use the name in the booking notes and never photograph guests, aircraft or yachts. VIP chauffeur service covers principals who prefer an unmarked arrival, and protective drivers are available on request through vetted partners.
Fare, waiting and cancellations
The quote is fixed for the route, date, time and vehicle. No meter, no surge in August. Extra waiting runs in 15-minute blocks. Cancellation costs nothing more than 72 hours out, 10% inside 72 hours, 50% inside 48 hours and the whole fare inside 24 hours or for a no-show. See rates for planning ranges.
Leaving Nice by private jet
For departures, the chauffeur needs the wheels-up time and the handler. From Monaco, allow at least an hour in summer; from Saint-Tropez, two and a half. The car drops you at the business aviation terminal's forecourt, where the handler takes the bags through security.
