SNA sits on the edge of Irvine, surrounded by the Irvine Business Complex, so many trips are five to ten minutes long. The Thomas F. Riley Terminal has three sections, Terminals A, B and C, on two levels: departures upstairs, arrivals and baggage claim downstairs. Rail and cruise connections
The Irvine Station at the Irvine Transportation Center is served by Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner, running between San Luis Obispo, Los Angeles Union Station and San Diego, and by Metrolink commuter trains. Los Angeles Union Station is about 40 miles and 50 to 80 minutes by car.
