Santa Barbara Airport (SBA): terminal and pickup
SBA sits in Goleta, about 8 to 10 miles west of downtown, next to UC Santa Barbara. It has a single terminal, the Spanish Colonial Revival building opened in 2011 around the restored 1942 original. The Amtrak station at 209 State Street, a Mission Revival depot near the beach, is served by the Pacific Surfliner and the Coast Starlight. Trains from Los Angeles Union Station take roughly 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours, and the chauffeur is timed to the train's actual arrival. Fire season and winter storms occasionally close SR-154 or the 101; when that happens the chauffeur reroutes and your fare stays the same.
