Entry rules for French Polynesia in 2026
French Polynesia is a French overseas collectivity, but it sits outside the Schengen area. Citizens of the EU, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and many other countries can visit without a visa for up to 90 days. The EU's ETIAS authorisation does not apply to French Polynesia. You need a passport valid at least three months beyond departure and an onward ticket.
