Bristol Airport (BRS): location and pickup
Bristol Airport is at Lulsgate Bottom, about 8 miles south-west of the centre on the A38, with one terminal. Bristol's Clean Air Zone
Bristol runs a Class D charging Clean Air Zone, in operation since 28 November 2022, 24 hours a day. It covers the city centre, the Harbourside and the area around Temple Meads. Non-compliant cars, taxis, private hire vehicles and vans pay a daily charge (£9 at the time of writing), and buses, coaches and lorries pay more. Most modern vehicles meet the standard. Visitors driving their own or a hired car should check the vehicle on the official Clean Air for Bristol site. Temple Meads, Parkway and the Paddington line
Bristol Temple Meads, the Brunel-era station by Temple Quarter, has GWR trains to London Paddington in about 1 hour 35 to 1 hour 50 minutes, plus CrossCountry services north to Birmingham and beyond. Included waiting: 60 minutes after landing on international flights, 30 minutes on domestic flights, 15 minutes on other pickups, then 15-minute blocks. Child seats are free on request. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10% at 72 hours or less, 50% at 48 hours or less, and 100% at 24 hours or less or on a no-show.
