Where the chauffeur meets you

Driving on the Sunshine Coast
Driving is on the left. The Sunshine Motorway links the Bruce Highway to Mooloolaba, Maroochydore and Noosa, and the David Low Way follows the coast between the airport and Noosa. Hastings Street and the Mooloolaba Esplanade are slow and hard to park in during holidays. Queensland does not use daylight saving, so clocks stay on Australian Eastern Standard Time all year.
Rail and intercity options
Queensland Rail's Sunshine Coast line runs from Brisbane to Nambour and Landsborough, but the stations are inland and far from the beaches, so most visitors transfer by road. For the station or longer runs, see intercity transfers.

Arriving in Australia
Most visitors need a visa or electronic travel authority, such as an ETA (subclass 601) or eVisitor (subclass 651), before flying; New Zealand citizens get a visa on arrival.
