Tianjin Binhai International Airport (TSN)
TSN is about 13 km east of the city centre, between the old city and Binhai New Area, with two terminals. Tianjin West and Tianjin South sit on the Beijing to Shanghai high-speed line. Districts, hotels and venues
The Haihe River runs through the old city. Heping District holds the Five Great Avenues, a quarter of European villas from the concession era, and the Italian Style Town sits across the river. Road rules and traffic
China drives on the right, and foreign licences are not valid without a Chinese licence. Beijing restricts non-local vehicles inside its ring roads at certain times, and local operators hold the permits needed.

Seeing Beijing on a Tianjin cruise call
Cruise guests who want the Great Wall or the Forbidden City on a port day face a long round trip: roughly three hours each way to central Beijing, and a similar time to the Mutianyu or Badaling sections of the Wall. It is possible with an early start and a firm return time, but many travellers prefer to spend a night in Beijing before embarkation or after disembarkation instead. If you do go on a port day, book an hourly chauffeur with a planned return that leaves at least two hours of margin before all-aboard.
