Jaipur International Airport: T1, T2 and pickup
JAI is at Sanganer, about 12 km south of the old city. It has two terminals about 1.5 km apart with no airside link: Terminal 1 reopened in October 2024 after renovation and now carries domestic flights and most international routes, while Terminal 2 handles the rest. Check your terminal with the airline before flying. Standard pickup is at the airport's designated pre-arranged pickup area outside arrivals; the chauffeur messages the car number and spot. Delhi, Agra and Jaipur: the Golden Triangle by car
The Golden Triangle is India's classic first trip: Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, usually over four to six days. A chauffeur is the practical way to do it, because the car carries your luggage between hotels and stops where you want.

Pink City sights and how the car works there
The walled old city, painted pink since 1876, holds the Hawa Mahal, the City Palace and the Jantar Mantar observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its bazaars, Johari and Bapu, are too congested to park in, so the chauffeur drops at the nearest gate and waits close by. Amber Fort, on the hill to the north, is reached by a steep ramp; cars drop at the base or the upper parking area depending on the day's rules. Nahargarh and Jaigarh forts sit on the ridge above. Rail and longer trips
Jaipur Junction is the main station, with Gandhinagar Jaipur and Durgapura serving some trains. Beyond the triangle, Ranthambore National Park is about 180 km and 3 to 3.5 hours, Pushkar and Ajmer about 150 km and 2.5 to 3 hours, and Udaipur around 400 km and 6 to 7 hours.
Driving in Rajasthan
India drives on the left. Expressway and highway tolls are paid by FASTag. On highways, trucks, camels, tractors and wrong-way traffic are normal, so chauffeurs avoid long night drives where possible. Summer, April to June, is very hot, often above 40°C.
Visa and arrival card

For a Golden Triangle circuit the price is agreed in advance, whether booked as one-way legs or as a multi-day programme. The cancellation terms are the same everywhere: free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10 % at 72 hours or less, 50 % at 48 hours or less, and 100 % at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. On a multi-day trip, each booked leg follows those terms. Child seats are free on request.
