Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB)
Porto Cervo has no airport of its own; guests arrive at Olbia, about 30 km south. Scheduled flights use the main terminal, where the chauffeur waits at the designated pre-arranged pickup area outside arrivals and messages the car details after you land. A name-board welcome inside the hall can be added; add-ons are only available in selected locations. Every flight is tracked. The allowance after landing is an hour for international flights and half an hour for domestic ones, with 15 minutes on other pickups and 15-minute blocks beyond that.
The drive to Porto Cervo usually takes 35 to 45 minutes outside the season and 45 to 70 minutes on peak summer weekends. Private jets at Olbia

Summer yachting and the marina
Porto Cervo's marina is one of the Mediterranean's main superyacht harbours, and the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda sits on the old port. Yachts berthed at the quay are simple: the chauffeur meets guests at the gangway area the marina allows. Hotels, villas and where the evenings go
The Costa Smeralda was laid out from the 1960s as a single resort coast. Guests stay at hotels such as the Cala di Volpe, the Romazzino, the Pitrizza and the Cervo Hotel, or in private villas around Pevero, Liscia di Vacca and Romazzino bay, many reached by gated private roads where the chauffeur needs the access code or a name on the gate list. Evenings centre on the Piazzetta and the Promenade du Port in Porto Cervo, restaurants in San Pantaleo and the clubs of the coast. Driving on the coast
Driving is on the right. The roads between Olbia, Arzachena and Porto Cervo are two-lane and winding, with roundabouts that jam on summer evenings and beach traffic on weekends. Porto Cervo village has pedestrian areas and limited drop-off space, so the chauffeur uses the permitted drop points and waits nearby. Which vehicle for Porto Cervo?
An executive SUV is the most requested car on the coast, for luggage and the unpaved final metres to some villas. A Luxury Executive Sedan suits a couple going to dinner. A Standard Black SUV or Sprinter Van carries a family with beach and luggage, or yacht guests with their bags. A Rolls-Royce, Maybach or Bentley for a wedding or an evening is supplied by a partner. Arriving from outside Schengen: EES and ETIAS
Italy is in Schengen. Travellers flying into Olbia from the UK, Switzerland or outside Europe pass the border check at OLB, where the EU Entry/Exit System has been fully operational since April 2026: non-EU visitors register fingerprints and a facial image on first entry. Private flights are checked at the general aviation terminal. ETIAS has not started as of September 2026 and has no confirmed launch date.
