YQM airport pickup: how it works

The airport is in Dieppe, about 10 km east of downtown Moncton, and the drive to Main Street hotels normally takes 12 to 20 minutes via Dieppe Boulevard or the Wheeler Boulevard ring road. YQM has one terminal. Standard pickup is curbside at the designated commercial pickup area outside arrivals; your chauffeur sends the vehicle and plate after landing. A meet and greet inside the arrivals hall with a name board is an add-on, and add-ons are only available in selected locations.

Moncton's rail link

Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview: where people go

Greater Moncton is three municipalities. Downtown Moncton runs along Main Street between the Avenir Centre and the Petitcodiac River, with offices, the Resurgo Place museum and the riverfront trail. Dieppe, to the east, holds the airport, the CF Champlain mall and a growing business district. Riverview sits across the river. The Université de Moncton campus is north of downtown, and the Magnetic Hill area off the Trans-Canada at the city's northwest edge holds Magnetic Hill itself, the zoo, the Magnetic Hill Concert Bowl and a cluster of hotels. Intercity transfers across the Maritimes

Moncton is the hub of the Maritimes road network, so one-way transfers are a large share of bookings. Highway 2 leads southeast into Nova Scotia, and Highway 104 crosses the tolled Cobequid Pass on the way to Halifax. Common routes:

Traffic drives on the right and New Brunswick runs on Atlantic time. Peak congestion is modest, mostly on Wheeler Boulevard and the Main Street causeway at rush hour and around the Avenir Centre on event nights. Moose and deer cross rural highways at dusk, particularly on Route 114 toward Fundy.
