Terminal 1 or Terminal 3: how the Pearson pickup works

Highway 410, 407 and 401
Highway 410 runs north-south through the middle of Brampton to the 401 and the airport, and it carries heavy truck traffic because of the logistics parks around it. The 407 ETR crosses the south of the city east to west; it is an all-electronic toll highway and often the quicker line to Vaughan, Markham or Oakville. Planning a departure from Brampton
Because the airport is so close, Brampton travellers are tempted to leave late. The drive is rarely the problem: the queues are. International check-in counters for long-haul flights open about three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before it on most carriers, and security at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 can be slow on evening departure waves to Europe and Asia.
